This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. For facility specific information, please call (661) 702-1420.Located on Taneum Creek, this campground offers 15 campsites. The campground accesses North Fork Taneum Trail # 1377 and has a beginners motorcycle loop trail that originates in the campground.

Directions

Take I-90 Exit 93 Elk Heights/Taneum Creek. Go north about 1/4 mile to Thorp Prairie Road. Turn right and go about 3.5 miles to East Taneum Rd. Turn right and cross over I-90 to West Taneum Road/Forest Service Road 33. Turn right travel 8.5 miles for 8.5 miles. Campground is on the left.
